Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 September 2026 · Last updated: 13 September 2026

Apna Spot is an online marketplace that helps customers discover and book accommodation and related listings offered by independent owners. This Privacy Policy explains the information used to operate the platform.

1. Information we may collect

2. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, operate bookings, show relevant listings, enable owner-customer communication, process support/refund workflows, verify owners/listings, send service notifications, prevent fraud and improve platform reliability.

3. Sharing

Information is shared only as needed to provide the service—for example, relevant booking/contact details between the customer and the property owner, payment information with payment processors, or information required by law or a lawful authority. We do not publish private account information as a public directory.

4. Account closure and retention

Users can submit an Account Closure Request from the Profile area. After review, access may be deactivated and active sessions revoked. Certain booking, payment, fraud-prevention, support and audit records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, security or platform-integrity purposes.

5. Security

Apna Spot uses account authentication, role-based access, server-side validation, audit logging and other safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their password and OTPs and report suspicious activity immediately.

6. Your choices

You can review or update editable profile information in the app, control supported notification permissions through your device/browser, contact support about privacy questions, and request account closure through the app.

7. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to support@apnaspot.in.

This page describes the current Apna Spot product workflow. Business registration details, statutory notices and responsible-person details should be kept updated whenever the operating entity changes.
